A delightful starter combining toasted baguette, creamy burrata, and fresh tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, torn
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes with basil leaves, salt, and pepper.
  5. Once the bread is toasted, remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Spoon a generous amount of the tomato mixture onto each baguette slice.
  7. Add a piece of burrata on top of each bruschetta, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  8. If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
