- 4 chicken fillets
- 200 g long-grain rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 20 cl liquid cream
- 50 cl hot chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the chicken fillets into small pieces.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, and cook the chicken until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter, then add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until they become transparent.
- Add uncooked rice to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the onion and garlic mixture. Cook for about 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle paprika over the rice.
- Pour the hot chicken broth and liquid cream into the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Return the golden chicken to the skillet, cover it, and reduce the heat to low. Let cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce the amount of cream while keeping the chicken broth proportionate. Adding vegetables like peas or bell peppers can enhance nutrition.
