Description

A refreshing iced mango matcha latte that combines the sweetness of mango with the earthy flavor of matcha for a perfect summer drink.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango or 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
  • 2 teaspoons of high-quality matcha powder
  • 1 cup of almond milk (or oat/coconut milk)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. If using a fresh mango, peel and pit it, then cut into chunks. For frozen mango, measure out 1 cup and set aside.
  2. Combine mango pieces with ½ cup of almond milk in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy to make a mango puree.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk 2 teaspoons of matcha powder with 2-3 tablespoons of water until fully dissolved.
  4. In a tall glass, layer the mango puree at the bottom, fill with ice cubes, pour in the remaining almond milk, and gently add the whisked matcha on top.
  5. Drizzle honey or maple syrup if desired and add a pinch of sea salt. Stir layers before sipping to enjoy all the flavors.

Notes

Use high-quality matcha for better flavor and color. Customize with palm sugar or agave syrup for sweetness.
