- 250 g fettuccine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Mix the cooked fettuccine into the sauce and combine well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a gourmet touch, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce. Reserve some pasta cooking water to help create a creamier sauce.
