Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until halfway done.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the crushed peeled tomatoes.
- Cook the sauce for 10 minutes, adjusting salt and pepper.
- Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
- Add mozzarella and basil.
- Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmigiano.
- Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Using buffalo mozzarella can elevate the dish. Reserve some pasta cooking water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
