Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • Mozzarella
  • Pomodori pelati
  • Parmigiano grattugiato
  • Olio d’oliva
  • Basilico

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until halfway done.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the crushed peeled tomatoes.
  3. Cook the sauce for 10 minutes, adjusting salt and pepper.
  4. Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
  5. Add mozzarella and basil.
  6. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmigiano.
  7. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Using buffalo mozzarella can elevate the dish. Reserve some pasta cooking water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
