- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup fully cooked sausage
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it into a rectangle.
- Evenly distribute the cheese and sausage over the dough.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Cut the log into equal pieces and arrange them in a flower shape on a greased baking tray.
- Cover and let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the buns for about 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
