  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup fully cooked sausage

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it into a rectangle.
  6. Evenly distribute the cheese and sausage over the dough.
  7. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  8. Cut the log into equal pieces and arrange them in a flower shape on a greased baking tray.
  9. Cover and let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Bake the buns for about 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
