Ingredients

- 4 filetes de ternera (solomillo or entrecot)
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 200 ml of cooking cream
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the filetes de ternera with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the filetes for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove steaks and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, stirring frequently.
- Add cooking cream and mustard to the skillet, stirring well to combine. Allow sauce to simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Serve the filetes topped with creamy sauce and sprinkled with fresh parsley.
Notes
Experiment with adding Worcestershire sauce or cracked black pepper to the sauce for extra flavor.
